With over 30 years of experience and a proven track record, YWRC is youth-led and dedicated to empowering young workers in Aotearoa, ensuring they have access to employment justice. We strive to combat the exploitation of young workers while empowering them in their employment relationships through educating rangatahi about their employment rights in their schools and community groups and providing support for those facing work-related issues.
What the Business needs:
Resource Designer - We are seeking to contract a young designer to assist us in modernizing our resources. We would like this opportunity to align with YWRC's kaupapa as a youth organization. We need someone to design our resources and develop effective promotional materials that are engaging and appealing to rangatahi, aligned with our current branding and accessible to all. We acknowledge this is a big project and will ensure our chosen candidate has access to mentoring with a design professional for the duration of the project. Having an understanding of various learning styles and engagement techniques in and educational context will be an advantage but not essential.
