Data cleaning We’re looking for a detail‑oriented, motivated intern to help clean, organise, and enrich our sponsorship and stakeholder data. This work directly supports our upcoming Community Fruit Harvest season and helps strengthen relationships with funders, partners, and supporters across Ōtepoti. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys research, tidy systems, and meaningful community‑focused mahi. You don’t need to be an expert, just organised, curious, and willing to learn. Key Responsibilities Review and clean existing contact records (remove duplicates, update details, check accuracy)Enrich sponsor and partner profiles with publicly available information (e.g., websites, funding priorities, contact names, past giving) Categorise contacts into meaningful groups (e.g., funders, businesses, community partners, volunteers) Support the creation of a sponsorship pipeline by identifying potential new partners Help prepare simple summaries or notes that support outreach and relationship‑building Maintain confidentiality and handle information with care What You’ll Gain Hands‑on experience with real‑world data cleaning and CRM systems Insight into community fundraising, sponsorship, and stakeholder engagement Experience working with a local food‑resilience organisation A chance to contribute to a project with tangible community impact A reference and/or endorsement for future roles Ideal Skills (but not required) Comfortable with spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel) Good attention to detail Enjoys research and organising information Clear written communication Interest in community food systems, sustainability, or social impact Time Commitment 3–6 hours per week, flexible Remote or in‑person (Ōtepoti) Start date: as soon as available |
