At Givenwell, we’re on a mission to empower people to care for themselves in their own way, so they can live healthier, happier, and more engaged lives. At Givenwell, we’re on a mission to empower people to care for themselves in their own way, so they can live healthier, happier, and more engaged lives. We’re a small Dunedin team building a world-class wellbeing platform and marketplace that lets employees use their wellbeing allowances on support that actually works for them – whether that’s massage, therapy, PT, nutrition, or ice baths. We’ve launched across Aotearoa and Australia, and we’re just getting started.
What the Business needs:
We’re looking for a reliable, sharp and enthusiastic student intern to join our team on a casual 10-hour-per-week contract.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll support our operations and platform as we grow. You’ll be based in our Dunedin office and work closely with the team on:
- Processing e-commerce orders through the wellbeing marketplace.
- Curating listings – adding new providers, writing short blurbs, keeping info up to date.
- Helping with supplier onboarding and admin tasks.
- Assisting with general office tasks – from courier runs to content prep.
No two days are the same – and you’ll get real exposure to how a startup runs behind the scenes. You’re a student who’s organised, enthusiastic, and wants more than just a student job. You might not have startup experience yet, but you’re keen to learn and happy to help wherever needed.
You bring:
- Great attention to detail.
- Solid communication skills (written and verbal).
- The ability to manage your time and juggle tasks.
- Confidence using digital tools (or a willingness to learn).
Bonus: an interest in wellbeing, startups, or e-commerce.
What We’re Offering:
- A flexible, paid internship that works around your uni schedule.
- A welcoming team and fun office vibe.
- Real experience in a growing NZ tech company.
- Opportunities to grow your skills and get stuck into meaningful work.
